Soon and Very Soon

The end is in sight, and not a tear will fall from my ducts when I say, "Auf wiedersehen, semester!"

So many non-academic words are poised at the tips of my fingers, ready to attack the keyboard in creative blogging frenzy.

So much art threatens to spill over the margins of my Synoptics notes onto real canvasses and small trading cards.

So many affectionate thoughts and hugs and cups of tea wait patiently to be realized in the company of neglected friends.

So many papers and exams and book reviews jeeringly block my path to freedom, but their days are numbered and their number is TEN.
