E left this morning at 5:30 with a stack of, no joke, 15 textbooks including this beauty:



Each book contains at least 20 pounds of engineering formulas.

That's right. It's Engineering Principles and Practice exam weekend. Two full eight hour days of multiple choice questions.



I continue to thank God every day for that one time when I decided not to pursue engineering.

I'm so nervous for him! He's been studying non-stop for days and frantically tabbing his references in preparation.

If he passes, he gets to officially stamp things with his professional engineer stamp. If he doesn't pass, he gets to retake the test and think of zingers with which to respond to his mocking colleagues.

Either way, I'm baking him a peach pie.
