Audio Blah-Blah-Blogging

I recently stumbled across the idea of "audio blogging" - the ability to call a special site from your cellphone, leave a message to be posted to your blog, and then -*bam*- instant blog post with no writing involved. Intriguing.

That is, intriguing until you hear examples of people's posts: Suh-NORE. Apparently this kind of technology is too new; nobody's figured out anything cool or interesting to do with it.

Undeterred by the awkward rambling of other audio bloggers, I tried it out for myself. I set up an account, called the number, was prompted to leave a blog message, heard the beep, and thennnn... Silence. Squirming, insecure silence.

"I have a cold!" I blurted out and collapsed in my chair, relieved that somebody had finally said something.

Not Interesting.

However, as in every single other boring thing I can think of, all it takes to get the party started is the participation of a seven-year-old kid.

Not having any seven-year-olds on hand, I'll instead share with you a little gem I found while researching other people's audio blogs. In the following clip, "Nana" interviews "Navonte" about spiritual matters.

Who are those people? Relatives of yours?

Whoops!

Very important clarification: this was one of the clips I ran across when researching what other people have done with audio blogging.

Now I will update my post to reflect this better.
